Eight hundred metres above sea level, at the base of the Appalachian Mountains grow rare Nordic Sugar Maple trees. These special highland “Rock Maples” produce 100% pure maple syrup and maple water unlike any other on earth. These unique trees are acclimated to cold harsh Canadian winters and have adapted to survive extensive cold periods. Combined with the nutrient-rich soil composition of the high plateau, the terroir of this special place has a dramatic influence on the breadth and depth of our maple taste and the purity and clarity of our waters.
We are proud to represent the master maple craftsmen of Saint Quentin, New Brunswick. Each spring, families with a singular passion and a dedication to tradition begin their maple harvest. With care and innovation dating back 200 years they tap each tree and collect the precious sap that will become Arbeau and Saint Q.
Each drop is handcrafted with artistry and finesse. From our trees to your table.
A special kinship exists between Saint Quentin, New Brunswick and Summerland, British Columbia. Both are built on a connection to the land, respect for true craftsmanship, pride in community, and a passion for sustainable entrepreneurship.
Arbeau water and Saint Q maple syrup are hand-labeled and hand-packaged in Summerland, B.C. We are proud to support family businesses and community associations in the Okanagan for our design, creation, sales and distribution of our fine maple products. We source our enthusiastic team of employees and volunteers exclusively from the Summerland Food Bank and Resource Centre that supports those on disability, low or retirement incomes.
Along with our maple partners in Saint Quentin, we will continue our mission to honour heritage, pursue innovation, harness passion, build community and respect Mother Nature in our quest to produce the truest tastes of Canada.
